Almost every single modern anchor used in naval industry is stockless. What makes the list of stockless anchors special is that these are general purpose, they are a standard and very versatile. They are not specialized in a certain niche of naval industry, like offshore operations. They are widely used in ships and vessels, like cargo or aircraft carriers, such as the US Navy Stockless. These anchors are both in Norway, Rotterdam in the European Union, and in locations in Asia Pacific.
The main difference between Spek and Spek M anchors is robustness. Spek anchors are the evolution of Hall Anchors, they are both stockless.
Hall anchors are a conventional type of stockless. Hall anchors are used normally, and they are a standard in ships for shipping industry.
