The Crown Shackle is a special type of Ship Shackle that is welded to the anchor. It is used to connect the Ship Chain to the end of the anchor, and unlike other shackles it is not meant to be removed. It comes in two main types, EU and APAC.
We have Crown Shackles of the EU Type and Design in Stock, at some of our anchors as well as available to be place and welded on their own.
We can also produce, and we have in Stock APAC Type and Design Crown Shackles, which are more common for ship anchors in Asia.
There are different sizes of crown shackles, as many as there are sizes for anchors. These crown shackles are meant to be used with ship chain, and therefore, only the sizes of ship anchors apply. All the way from 12.5 mm chain and up to 175mm chain on standard sizes.
