The Short Swivel Forerunner is similar to the standard type, but has a lower number of links and components and therefore is shorter. This is an advantage since it reduces the risk of obstruction in the chain stopper when operating the ship chain.
We are a supplier of Short Swivel Forerunners for your ship chain, we can provide it either on their own or as a part of the chain that you purchase.
Here at Castle Hills we also have in Stock the regular size Swivel Forerunners for ship chain. These are the standard and the most widely used type.
There exist as many sizes of Short Swivel Forerunners as there are sizes of ship chain. Meaning that it is possible to find a different size between 12.5 mm and even up to 175 mm ship chain, of the Grades 1, 2 and 3.
